Today we end a chapter of our lives and start a new one with one less to share in that, On this Day back on April 18 1954 at that time was Easter Sunday Donald Cramer Becker and Patricia Ann Daggett joined to become one and start a new life together and in doing so they created 7 children, 21 Grandchildren and 39 Great Grandchildren and I'm sure on that day they had no clue what they were about to create in their lifetime. In April 2004 they celebrated 50 years of marriage with family and friends and reminded them of what they accomplished . In December 2004 Dad passed on and broke that bond they created so many years before, Mom struggled and Missed him dearly every day and never lost sight of the one she loved. On April 5th 2013 Mom chose to leave us and join back up with the one she truly loved and end her pain and suffering. Mom had her ways and was not going to let anyone change what she did or when she would do it. It hurts to know her final days were spent in the hospital, but her final days were spent with family and she was not alone. Going through Mom's stuff showed the love she had for dad with everything we found that she hung on to remind her of him and their love and what she had lost, In 2008 we had chosen a Headstone for her and dad which represented them both with Ducks and Owl's and picked a place in Evergreen Cemetery on top of the hill over looking her family plots and the Pond, It's a Beautiful spot at night when the sun goes down and a breeze is blowing and can hear the voices of the kids playing on nearby streets and it will remind her of all those years of growing up on Burr Street. She has gone home to be with Dad and our Father In Heaven, Today we lay her remains to rest on top of the hill in Cazenovia the Town she grew up in and above the street she spent so many years on, Her spirit and soul has already left us and joined dad back on the 5th, But today on what would be their 59th Wedding Anniversary we join their ashes together as one and say our final goodbyes to both of them. There will be tears and sadden hearts and sorrow for what we have lost and we should remember even thought we lost her, Dad has gained her back and that will make us all smile and feel happy. So as we go through today and we place not only Mom , but Dad in their final resting place together we do it as a family, Today is their day just as it was back in 1954 and us as their legacy 7 children, 21 Grandchildren and 39 Great grandchildren lets make them proud of what they created and stand before them as we say our final goodbye and send them onto that spot on top of the hill as they will finally be FOREVER TOGETHER..

Over the years since my dad had passed I spent countless nights at Mom's having dinner with her and just sitting there so she wasn't alone, It turned in a routine and just like she did with Dad she had dinner on the table when I showed up just like she did when we were kids growing up on Burr Street, So many nights mostly over the winter we would just sit and watch TV and it turned into a routineand she would say our Show is on and she would flip the TV to CSI Miami and we would sit and watch it till 9 o'clock and then I would say time to go home,I would give her a hug and tell her I loved her and go home, Well as much as I enjoyed the show and it truely was one of my favorites at the time, well anyone who truly know's me can guess my favorite 2 things about the show,,Yup your right,,Calleigh Duquesne and Natalia Boa Vista,Yup they the reason,but while Mom was in the hospital and I was sitting next to her bed and everyone had gone home to clean up or to eat,we found our selfs sitting alone and she looked at me and said I'm bored so see what's on TV, as I chuckled to myself here's a women on her death bed and she's bored so I turned on the TV and guess what was on when the TV turned on, Yup you got it, CSI Miami and there we sat watching our show like we did so many nights before, and it reminded me of why I watched the show with her and it was because to her it was our show and that's what made it special to her, a few days after that I once again told her I loved her and kissed her and unlike before this time it was her turn to go home.Now everytime I hear or see the show it reminds me of her and our time together watching our show.Goodnight Mom Love You

i am sorry for loss of your mom...i know the memories will help ease the pain.she was such special woman.anyone living on burr street knew they couldn't get anything by pat.she would sit out on the porch and watch the street while visiting with neighbors when they passed her house.she cared for her family above all.her children are living memorials to her and don.if there is anything i can do please don't hesitate to ask....

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and such a good friend and companion to my mother. Mom enjoyed her afternoon visits with Aunt Pat and Tiny watching their afternoon shows with Tiny in Mom's lap and the two of them visiting. Your Mom will be missed.
