It is with heartfelt sadness that we read the Caz Republican this week to see that Pat had passed. We first met Pat when she was working at Burton Street School. She was professional, helpful and welcoming to nervous/newbie parents, such as us. We could always count on her if we had a question, inquiry or anything really with regards to the school, our children and sometimes life itself. We thought of her as a community anchor - strong, steadfast but also nurturing to all the parents at school. As time went on we even got to know her children, Triest and Tristen. We were blessed with Triest as a "babysitter" - or as sometimes I would think of her as our "Mary Poppins"! :) We are so sorry for the loss of your mother/spouse/friend. She will surely be missed by all. Please know we are thinking of you. (We regret that we did not get the notice on time to attend her memorial) Blessings.
