Obituary of Beth-Anne Petersen

Beth-Anne Petersen, 56, of Erieville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. She was born June 1, 1967 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to William and Judith McFadden. Beth graduated from Vestal High School in 1985, and SUNY Oswego in 1989. During her time at Oswego, she earned a BS in Business Administration. Beth was employed as an Executive Territory Manager with Urogen Pharma. During her over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Beth earned multiple national sales awards due to her enthusiasm for her career and strong work ethic. In her free time, Beth enjoyed working out, running, biking and anything in the outdoors. She was a competitive swimmer from the age of 9 through college. She enjoyed running 15Ks, half and full marathons with her siblings. For her first full marathon in Chicago, Beth and her brother Mike, trained and ran it together. Beth’s goal was to complete it in under 4 hours which she achieved with ease. Beth was such a light in this world and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. You could not help but to get drawn in by Beth with her radiant smile, and expressive, upbeat personality. Beth never met a stranger! This trait enabled her to have strong impact on people and have huge success in her career. Her love of life was evident in the way she lived, constantly finding joy in the little things. Even just sitting in the “eagle’s nest” by the bon fire turned into a fun time with Chris, family, friends, and of course, the pups! Over the last year, Beth’s journey led her back to her Christian faith. This road enhanced her positive outlook on life, and left her at peace with her destiny. For those who were blessed to know and love her, we will forever cherish our memories, and look to the sky for her heavenly light. Beth is survived by her husband of 13 years, Christopher; her parents, William and Judith McFadden of Endicott, NY; her siblings, Michael McFadden of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Kelly McFadden of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Terry (Mary) McFadden of Endwell, NY, and Erin (James) Gross of San Diego, CA as well as several nieces and nephews.
