Obituary of Nancy Lee English

Nancy Lee English, 85, of Cazenovia, New York passed away on October 10th, 2023 after a long illness. Nancy was born on December 17th, 1937 to Leland and Harriett Norton English of Cazenovia. Nancy was a graduate of Cazenovia High School before enrolling at CCBI in Syracuse. Nancy worked at General Electric for several years. Following her marriage to P. James Costello she was a stay-at-home mom for many years raising their two children. Nancy returned to the workforce joining Dielectric Laboratories located in Cazenovia. Nancy was spunky, loved to cook, she liked to knit in her spare time and spend time with her grandchildren. Nancy will be missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Costello Haube (Rick); her son, Thomas James Costello (Denise) and her grandchildren, Melissa Lee Haube (Thomas), Erin Elizabeth Dewan (Jeffrey), Hannah Eileen, Holly Anne & Donavin James Costello; her great granddaughters, Lillian Jean and Penelope James Dewan. Nancy is also survived by her brothers, Neil English (Rosemarie), Gilbert English (Brenda) and by her sister, Susan Haaf (Clifford). We would like to extend our thanks to Crouse Community Center in Morrisville for the care mom received especially in her final days. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association, 7138 Sutherland Drive, Canastota, NY 13032. Arrangements are being handled by Michael E.
