Obituary of Daniel Ankers
Daniel T. Ankers, 59, of New Woodstock passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born May 31, 1964 in North Hempstead, New York to Donald and Eleanor Ankers. Dan was a lifelong entrepreneur and a true leader. He had successfully built several businesses and partnerships in Property Management & Landscape Design Installation, Site Work, Heavy Construction & Engineering, Finance & Business Services, Real Estate & Development. With a work force of 15 to 125 employees and revenue in excess of $3 million annually. Dan successfully merged with large corporations three times and had four successful exits.
In 2011 Dan was badly injured on a job site. After years of recovery, he devoted himself to the development of the Cannabis & Industrial Hemp Industries. Dan had vision, the ability to build a team and set policies and procedures to create a foundation for success.
Dan loved Cannabis, but he also loved his motorcycle, listening to music and the sound of water. He was truly passionate about the hemp and cannabis industry. The world lost a precious soul, he truly cared for his employees. He always did all he could for the people that worked with him. Please make sure to help continue his legacy through Real Life Botanicals and CNY Hemp Processing.
He is survived by his daughter, Tessa Lane; his brothers, Gary Ankers and Bill Ankers; Bill’s children Adam, Amanda, Melissa, and Bruce; his best friend and business partner, Stephen Halton and his loving children, KJ and Mason.
