Jay, Marjie & Charlie, What sad news to learn of your Mom’s passing. She was such a wonderful, warm, welcoming and elegant woman. Gail & I remember fondly the evenings the whole Mackenzie clan spent at your Dad & Mom’s beautiful home on the lake. Both were such great hosts and extraordinary human beings. We send our heartfelt sympathies, hoping that your happy memories and the thoughts and prayers of family and the many, many friends of your Mom & Dad will be of some comfort and support in the days ahead. Warmly, Denny & Gail Baldwin

Marjie, Jay, Charlie, It is with the utmost sincere and deepest sympathy that I read of your Beautiful mother's passing. As I read her beautiful obituary, a flood of emotions came over me, as did a flood of tears. Reading that took me back soo many years ago, and so many beautiful memories, too numerous to recount them all. Mrs Wason was such an elegant lady and just fun to be around! I always loved coming over to your house on DeWitt Rd, I always had such fun. Going to the camp on Cazenovia Lake was soo much fun! Hanging out at the barn with the horses was just soo cool; the Polo Matches, your father including me to an SU game in the old stadium(my feet are finally thawing out!) These memories are as vivid today and as they were when we were making them over 55 years ago! Please know you have all been in my thoughts and prayers all these years! Your mom and dad were so elegant, kind, and generous. I have often wondered..."what could have been if only..." My tears haven't stopped... My most Sincere and Deepest Sympathies to All of you, and your Beautiful family.

My extended condolences to you Margie and all your family at the passing of your wonderful Mom. I so enjoyed my visits with her and she would love for me to bring along my little pug Sophie. We could talk about anything and the conversations were so heartwarming. She was a lovely lady.

Martha was an amazing member of our Caz community. She lived a full life even after her beloved Jay left her life.
I'll always remember when my Donzi boat wouldn't start after floating and reading. I paddled and I tied it up to the Wason's dock and they gave me a drive home. The next day my boat did start. The wonders of friendship.

We are so sorry to hear of Martha’s loss. There are so many memories of Martha and Jay - too many to write them all. They were so welcoming to everyone, and we had some wonderful times at the lake and on the polo field. We send all the family our deepest condolences. Gioia Gensini & David Neff
