My sincere condolences to Ron and Andrew and all the Terry family. I was fortunate to get to work with Dorothy at DLI. I always admired her kind and soft nature. I still hear her "Good Morning" in my head. I have recalled our last conversation many times now. Although I could not be there, I lit a candle at 10:30 am in your memory. "I am not crying for you my friend, I am crying for me." Until we meet again my friend. RIP

Having just read about Dorothy's death this past week, Dan and I are saddened to hear of her recent illness and death. If we had been aware of Dorothy's services, we would surely have attended. Dorothy was a wonderful neighbor and friend to Dan's parents, Dorothy and Leon Hudson, when they lived on Burton Street, in the house that now belongs to Kay Cerio. Mom spoke often of how great it was to have such friendly and helpful neighbors in Dorothy and Lee Avery, Dorothy's husband prior to his death. When Dan and I would visit, Dorothy always came over to chat, see our boys and share iced tea on the back deck. Her upbeat, people-centered personality made me look forward to our visits. It also helped to know that her youthful helping hand attitude was a source of pleasure and comfort to mom and dad in their senior years. They knew that they could always count on Dorothy to help out whenever needed. Rest in peace, Dorothy! Ron, our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of the family. Teresa and Dan Hudson

It was an honor and pleasure to get to know Dorothy in the brief time we worked together. She was always pleasant, outspoken, and wore her heart on her sleeve. I will fondly cherish and remember our talks about tattoos, animals, and weekend plans. May her spirit carry on in the hearts of so many. Sending my condolences and thoughts of strength and peace to Ron, Andrew, and the entire family.

My time working with Dorothy was short but sweet. My first impression of Dorothy is of a spunky, young at heart woman. I chuckled as she sang along to 93Q wishing my mom could've been so "hip". Her presence is missed but her spirit will carry for a lifetime. May your memories and love for your wife and mom carry you through this difficult time until you are all reunited one day.

Dorothy...You will be missed by so many. I know you are at peace and will always be looking over Ron and Andrew. To Ron and Andrew, the pain of the passing of your wife and mom falls beyond the scope of words. I am so sorry for your loss. As you make your way along the path of grieving hold on tight to each other, your family and many friends. There is where you will find the strength, love, support and strength that your wife/mom is sending you every hour of every day. Love never dies, it simply transforms in many different ways as you both will experience as you walk together along the path of having lost someone you both love so dearly.
