Obituary of Renee Lamb

Renee Panipinto Lamb gracefully found relief from her struggle with ALS on October 6 through the separation of spirit and body at her home in Cazenovia, NY. Renee grew up in Webster, NY where she enjoyed spending her summers sailing at Sodus Point. Her lifelong passion was dance, in which she minored at SUNY Geneseo. Renee met her husband Jim in Webster while they were co-workers. They were married in 1981 and had two children. She taught afterschool programs while her children were young and later obtained a Master's in Education from Nazareth College. She worked as a substitute, taught 1st grade, and later volunteered her time with an adult literacy program. Renee always said her true purpose in life was to be a Mother. She also loved jazzercise, cooking, reading, and entertaining family. Renee is missed and loved by her family including best friend and husband James Wilbur Lamb, their children Amanda and Joseph, grandson Parker, and son and daughter in-law Patrick and Anna. Additionally she is beloved by her brother Rick, sisters-in-law Kristin and Nancy, and father-in-law Wilbur, many cousins, extended family and friends including Sophie and Louie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Cazenovia on October 11th at 11 am.
