Dear Koennecke Family: I am so sorry to hear and read about Albert's passing. I apologize I do not get a paper and did not know he had passed last week. The women from Caz. Sr. Program called for Walter's address in TX to send a card. I would have come to the calling hours. Albert was very thoughtful and made sure everyone was taken care of. Please accept my and my family's Deepest Sympathy and Condolences on the loss of a very kind man. Pat Stastny

Dear Koennecke family... I am glad that I got to see him at the last Cook barbecue at Ellie and Dave's last summer. He and Ruth Ann, Fritz and Jan and my mom (Nellie) were all sitting in a circle talking, it was wonderful. He was a terrific man, loved talking to him and hearing farm and family stories. So deeply sorry for his passing, and I will miss him. Prayers and hugs to all siblings, children and Ruth Ann. My mom is visiting me in Maryland and unfortunately won't be able to make the funeral. You are all in our thoughts!

We will miss Al; he was kind, honest, sometimes funny, thoughtful and an all round good guy. He will leave a large vacancy in the Central New York farm community.

I have such wonderful memories of Uncle "AhBee", Aunt Ruth Anne and my cousins. The best times of my childhod were spent on the farm. He is a gentle soul and a wonderful role model for his siblings, children and grandchildren. His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but may the knowledge that he is not suffering anymore and he is with his beloved son, Kurt, his parents and sister, bring some peace and comfort. You will be missed Uncle. See you on the other side. Love Trish.
