Obituary of Lucille Barber

Lucille "Nan" Barber, 93, of Cazenovia, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Willet, New York, a daughter to the late, Floyd and Gladis Standish. Lucille grew up in Willet and attended school in Cincinatus. She was a homemaker for most of her life and cared for her mother-in-law, Bertha Barber for 20 years. Lucille enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and was an avid hunter. Lucille and her husband were honorary members of the Bear Lake Rod & Gun Club in Stockton.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elwyn R. Barber, who died in 1980 and by a daughter, Tina Barber.
She is survived by her children, Penny (Mark Smith) Snyder of Cazenovia, Rev. Vicky (J.D.) Yelton of Alexandria, VA and Paul Francis Barber, Sr. of DeRuyter; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 with services to follow at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Burial will be in Quaker Basin Cemetery, DeRuyter.
