Obituary of Karl Ammann

Karl Joseph Ammann, 95, of Cazenovia, died Thursday at his home. Karl was born in Albany Wisconsin. He has resided in Cazenovia for 90 years. He was a toolmaker for Prosperity Company, and retired in 1976 as an Occupational Education Instructor for the Syracuse School District. He is predeceased by his brother, Edwin. Surviving are his wife Clara; his daughters, Carol Bayer, Rosemarie Hnatow and Arlene Luley; her sister, Mary Robotti; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10am Monday at St. Ann's Church in Manlius. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-7 Sunday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc. 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CAVAC, PO Box 56 Cazenovia, NY 13035, or to a charity of choice.
