Jim,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Reading his obituary, he certainly must have been such a very impressive man with a passion for working with and helping others with his incredible knowledge. That is a great picture of him.
They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. After knowing you for just a short time, I can see that you seem to be a great example of this. I am also sure he was incredibly proud of you as you were of him. I know how painful it was for me when my dad passed, yet every day I see examples of how he still lives through me. I am sure the same is true for you.
I would like you to know that both Cheryl and I will say prayers for your dad, yourself and your family.

Dear Hastie Family: We are so sorry that we will not be able to make it to the calling hours for Dr Hastie. We spent many happy hours with Jean and Dr Hastie at our garage in Erieville and felt that we were friends. They always brought their Jack Russel Terrier and liked to hear George play his guitar.
