Dear Mary & family....I just today heard of Jon's passing and am so sorry for your loss. You probably don't remember me but I worked for Jon back in the Exclusive Specialties days and I have to say he was one of the best bosses I've ever had. I appreciated his fairness, his willingness to share his knowledge and his confidence in me that he'd let me handle his accounts if he was on vacation and something needed to be done. He was also very understanding if one of my kids was sick or a school fieldtrip to the zoo was important....Being such a family man himself, he understood all that. His sense of humor made work fun....we got a lot done but had fun doing it. I know he will leave a huge whole in all your hearts. Though I didn't know him very long, he was just the kind of man that makes a huge impression on you and I'm honored to have worked with him.. I wish you all the best.

I was so sorry to learn of Jon's death. My sincere condolences to Mary and all the Thompson Family. I have fond memories of all of us growing up here in Cazenovia--at the Caz. Club, Willowbank (formerly the Kennard boat Co.) and the Caz. Ski hill. He looks so much like his father in this picture.

My sincere condolences to the Thompson family. Although I did not know Mr. Thompson on a personal level, the times that I encountered him I was touched by his personality and charm. I know what a dedicated father and grandfather he was. His son Jon my brother in law is an amazing human being and good husband to my sister and father to my nieces because of him.
