I was so sad to hear Steve passed last Thursday. Steve, through his Mom, became close to my Aunt Terry and she is the one through whom I heard this shocking news. My heart pours out to the loved ones Steve left behind. I hadn't seen Steve since high school, but he was a Facebook friend of mine. Steve always commented on my posts. He will be missed.

Debbie, I know it's been years since we've seen each other but my deepest sympathy are with you. I only met Steve a few times but he was a wonderful, down to earth man. Very friendly and I remember how much you two loved each other. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.
Love you old friend

I am very saddened to hear of Steve passing on to his reward. He was a very good memory of French class. As a farm kid, I had a tendency to fall asleep in class. He sat next to me and was always prompted to nudge me to wake me up when something new was covered. He did!! He was one of the favorable memories of that time in my life. I will miss seeing his posts and likes of my posts. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by all the lives he touched.

Thoughts and Prayers for you all, especially Helen and Debbie, Bob and Mary. Steve had a wonderful zest for life, that is true. Even though we know we only have each other for a while here on earth, it always hurts to lose those we love. We will see them again. Our heavenly Father who made us all is good and had the Apostles of old, in the Holy Scriptures, share the good news that we will see them again! That is a promise for those who love the Lord. He will be missed, but heaven holds loved family members for him to be with also. You know Steve....he never met a stranger. He is probably making new friends in heaven everywhere. Love you all.

Dear Deb and Family,
The news is saddening. There are no words that express just what we feel when a loved one departs. I was a good friend of Steve's during school years. We kidded around and got serious occasionally. Competed in all the sports and then graduated. Steve went on to do some pretty neat stuff and most of all by the sounds of his history did well. One accomplishment is marriage. To you, you have lost a part of your life that can be sustained thru memories. I pray those memories will be of times of joy and peace. Steve was a good man. You're in my prayers, Bill Wrisley class of '70
