To the Heath Family, Growing up in Cazenovia with "Aunt Betty" as a neighbor brings back so many great memories. My brother Tim and I would make regular trips to visit and snack as Aunt Betty puttered around her kitchen. She was so often baking and,if we were good little visitors, she would let us have something warm from the oven! A taste treat for hungry little kids! My favorite was a chocolate cookie with white frosting and a walnut stuck into the frosting. I remember getting the recipe from her after I went to college so that I could make them for myself (her's were always better!).She'd graciously give us bowls of cereal or toast even after our mother told us not to go bother her and ask for food. I don't think I ever saw her without a smile on her face! Even her eyes smiled at you! She was everything good about small town life. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Patrick Kennedy

My sincere condolences to Charlie and his family. I was very sad to hear of Betty's passing. I took care of Betty and Charlie at Chittenango Center for a short time and grew very fond of them both. My prayers are with u all in this difficult time. God bless.

Dear Charlie & family, what a great lady Betty was. I worked with her for a short time @ EHBC and she was truly an inspiration. My kids called her "Betty Spaghetti", because of the way she sprung around. I'm glad I had the privledge of meeting her. She taught me a lot, in a fun way! May God Bless You throughout your healing.
