Condolences to the Porter family.I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Ralph. He always told a heck of a story and always knew how to make me laugh. He especially liked to tell me stories about Skip. He was a wonderful man and will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Dear Jean & Family: You have my deepest sympathy in the lost of your husband &father. So sorry to hear about Ralph's passing. Have know him most of his life even tho I had not seen him in quite a few years & that was up at Roy & Phyl's cottage. Dear Porter family, My condolences to you all on the loss of Ralph. My mother is currently at Crouse Community Center as was my father, both receiving excellent, loving care. I would see Ralph in the dining lounge while I sat with my mother at Saturday lunchtime. Ralph was always appreciated by the staff. I know they will miss him. I will miss seeing him there. My father LeRoy 'Roy' & Ralph were so much alike. They both had a wicked sense of humor and loved to talk about when they were kids & all the pranks they used to pull on their parents. When we had our Porter family reunions and I'd bring photo's of the prior years with me... they had a hard time telling which one was which! Only way was to look at the baseball caps that were worn. They had the same smile and devilish look in their eyes. Because I live out of state the only time I've seen him & Jean in recent years is when they used to drive to Florida to see my folks in the winter time while I was there visiting my folk. Due to their declining health they haven't been able to make that trip in a number of years but still remember all the jokes & good times we all had together.

Have fond memories of Porter family reunions 'back in the day' when my dad, Roy Porter, and Ralph would have everyone in stitches telling everyone about all the pranks they used to pull on their parents. NOW all us kids knew where we got it from.. our fathers!! lol Sorry to say the last time I saw uncle Ralph was back in early 2000's at Christmas time while I was visiting my folks in Florida and they drove down to go to Disney World and stopped in for a day or two. Have many fond memory's & he'll be sorely missed.
