Our deepest sympathy to Joe and the whole, extended family of Louanne; the loss is great and so difficult to comprehend; we first met Louanne when we moved to Buttonvale Rd. in 2000; from golfing at Caz, to being awed by her great jewelry making, to having her visit us once when she came to Tucson, we have never lost touch. Truly a bright and shining star has been added to heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My Dear Sistahs,
Our hearts are with you, heavy at the loss of such a beautiful, gifted, member of our family; lost for words; wishing we could wrap our arms around each and everyone of you.
I’m imagining Grandpa Don, Willie and Lou doing just that.
So much love,
Ellyn and Gary Hass

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Know that God is aware of the tears you are shedding. (Psalm 56:18) He will soon do what is said at Acts 24:15, which promises us of a resurrection of our loved ones. May that bring you hope. Take comfort in your good memories and allow your family and loving friends to help you through this difficult time

To both families, I was very sad to read of Louanne’s passing. She had a lot of amazing talents, and her golf game was legendary across this area. She was the one the ladies all aspired to beat, and she was rarely about to let that happen. All I can say is that I am very sorry for your loss. God bless.

Dear Joe and all of the Pontecorvo and Gilmore family members -
I am heartbroken that Louanne is gone, as I know you all are. Please know that I, among many, share your loss and grief and are here to support you in any way possible. "Lou lou belle" helped me immeasurably after I lost the love of my life, Dutch; and struggled to find my way in the new world in which I found myself. If I am not able to attend the Mass, please know that my love and prayers go with you all. I know that she is re-joining her parents and other loved ones in an easier world than this one. We are the ones who are left to be thankful for being blessed with her kind, generous and loving presence for the time we were allowed.

I am so sorry this lovely lady and my grammar school and middle school friend has passed from this life. I know that she is with the Lord and is happily enjoying paradise. We only found each other again on Facebook less than a year. I remember all the Gilmore girls and how lovingly they are to each other and I will continue to pray for all of you that Jesus will comfort your sadness as I know what a very special person Louanne is.

It has been difficult adjusting to not seeing Louanne's clear blue eyes and bright shinning smile.
She contributed so much of herself to the Sawgrass community. The many hours she volunteered for True Blue Navy Families, her contributions to the Sawgrass Womens Golf Association, but mostly, her kindness to all will leave a hole that will not be filled.
I am thankful to have had Louanne in my life. She is a gentle soul...

This is such a huge loss for so many people. Louanne inspired me from the start. I met her when I was a kid and she was dating my Uncle Paul. I fell in love with her instantly. She was warm and loving, and one of the most genuine people I have ever known. As an artist, she greatly influenced my own desire to make art. I am grateful that I was able to keep current with her life on social media, and be in touch with her now and then. I just wish I could have told her how much she inspired me on so many levels, as both a person, and an artist. My heart is filled with so much love for her immediate family, who I know are suffering such a great loss of someone who had such a big heart with so much love to give. Many blessings. <3

There is no way I can possibly sum up 42 years of a beautiful friendship. She was, and will always be my best friend. There are only good memories of Louanne, and those I will cherish forever. She finally made it to FL and golfing was her world, and Joe and the grandchildren. She was a carefree woman, who never asked for anything, but always was a giver. I will miss you so much, Lou. Your sisters have a lot ahead of them, but your presence will be there to guide them I know. Until we meet again, Love Always, Cathy.
