When we moved to Cazenovia in 1998 Al and Peggy had us over for dinner to welcome us to Cazenovia. Judge Tait had been an acquaintance of my husband's father, Otsego County Surrogate Court Judge Richard Bookhout. Al and Peggy were an open and friendly and fun couple, who went out of their way to introduce themselves and invite us to their home for a lovely meal. Over the years it has been our privilege to be considered friends of the entire Tait family. We offer everyone connected to Al Tait our deepest and most sincere sympathy.
