To the family - Your Mom, Dad and grandparents were such an important part of Cazenovia for many years. We have not lived in Caz for over 10 years - but we remember them fondly. Barb was in the Adult exercise class that I helped run with Dorothy Masterson for several year's in the 90's. Our prayers are with you. May they rest in peace together. The passing of a great gentleman! So involved in his community. My sympathies to you all on his passing. I worked for Mr. Pace during the summer after freshman year of college. Both Mr. and Mrs. Pace made Cazenovia Greenhouses a great place to work. Nice people with a wonderful sense of humor. Mr. Pace also hired me to work during the Christmas season that year. We had a bad snow storm beginning one morning, making the drive home impossible. The Paces took 3-4 of us in overnight. Grilled cheese sandwiches for supper! Mr. Pace walked down to the Episcopal Church in the snow to bring my car up to the house. An example of his and his wife's generous spirit. And great memories. I am go grateful to have known he and his wife.

We came to know Charles when he bought our small boat, and the transaction has been memorable because of his entry into our lives. He was truly a gentleman, a great friend, and a super role model for grace, unselfishness, and sincerity. We extend him our wishes and prayers for a blessed stay in eternity with our Lord.

I'll always remember the love and support that Mr. Pace shared with everyone who came to the greenhouses. It was always a joy to work there back in high school. He was a great man. your family is in our thoughts. Peace to you.

This past winter I was working the Delphi Falls Church Fish Fry and Charlie had started coming to them and we spent time talking and one night it was like 2 hrs and Charlie and I were the last one ones there,It was like no time had pasted and Charlie had lots of stories about his family and how proud he was of them all. I had found some pictures from around 1985 when Charlie and Barb threw me a party at the Nelson Inn went I left the Greenhouse for a new job and I brought them in to show Charlie and the smile he had when I told him he could keep them and take them home with him,Charlie would tell me each week how good the french fries were and how much he enjoyed them so I had requested a bag, I think it was like 5lb bag and I gave it to him to take home along with a extra fish dinner one night and the smile he had when he left that night is what I remember the most. I will allways have memories of working at the Green House and all the good times back then, but the best memory I will have is the smile Charlie had that night going out the door when I carried his bag of french fries and extra fish dinner to his car.May the Lord Bless and Guide you Charlie and the memories we have will allways hold true to all our hearts.
