Michael F. Kent, 46, of Delphi Falls, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 12, 2019. He was born in Syracuse and received his formal education from Fabius-Pompey High School and Onondaga Community College. Mike was a highly skilled Audio/Visual Technician with Creative Conversions in Manlius for over 15 years. He enjoyed performing mechanical work on a variety of vehicles but was partial to Ford Mustangs. Michael’s pastimes included watching movies, engaging in video games and spending time on his computer. Michael was best known for his sense of humor and his kindness towards others. His loss will be felt by many as he was always available to help a friend in need.
He is survived by his father, Raymond (Carol Olszewski) Kent of West Monroe; two sisters, Heather (David Bohli) Kent of Camillus and Katie (Kyle) McManus of Syracuse; his niece, Riley Janene McManus and by his dog, Lily. Michael was predeceased by his mother, Janene Howell Kent in 2001.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 with a service at 3 p.m. at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
