Ray was our electrician for many years, and we found him to be the nicest guy. I also learned right away from Ray that Jean was his sister. She and I worked together at Marine Midland Bank many years ago. Am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of you, Jean, and hope you are well. Ray will be missed.

Lots of good memories with Ray here & in Colorado in the early 1970’s .
Didn’t know anyone that had a bad thing to say about Ray as most found him to be a cool , interesting , funny guy .
Not positive but i think Ray sold me my 1st motorcycle (of many :>) in the early 70’s , a 305 Honda Scrambler .
Had not heard anything about him in decades & always thought that he was still in Colorado where i was , from ‘76-85 before moving back to CNY just like he did apparently .
Lots of us got to CO initially even earlier in the 1970’s .
God-speed Ray , you’ll definitely be missed just like our mutual friend Johnny Cavanaugh .

Ray was a classmate of mine through junior and senior high. In eighth grade, several in our class were working on a "radio" production of "War of the Worlds". As part of the frightened crowd we had to scream in fear of the alien invasion. The reticent group was hesitant to do so, until out of nowhere, Ray began to scream at the top of his lungs! It shocked us all, but led to a fairly convincing production. Ray was always interesting, always bright, and always a character.
My condolences to his family.
