Doug, Chris, David, Sandy, Bill and families, I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your mother and sister. Jane and I were classmates and friends growing up in Delhi. I have so many wonderful memories of her and will always think back on her intelligence, humor and kindness, as will others. I want you to know that I have heard from over 20 of our former classmates--some of whom I have not heard from since we graduated from high school in 1966. They too feel sadness at her loss but are grateful for the fond memories they have of her.

I was so saddened by this news and remember our childhood adventures with fondness. I first met Jane at her Dad's store the summer before we started kindergarten. We rode the school bus together everyday and, as we got older, met on summer days to ride bikes on the 'back river road'. We spent countless hours playing together on the hillsides behind our farms. Jane was a good friend throughout our school years together and I was fortunate to have known her. I pray her family is sustained by the love of family and friends during this time... and in the days to follow.
