I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Norm. Thanksgiving dinners and the tossing of rolls are a fond memory, amongst others. My sincere thoughts to all of the Putnams. Fondly, Beth Putnam

Our deepest condolences for your loss. Norm was truly a one of a kind individual & most of our fondest childhood memories are from Putnam's Horse Haven. He was knowledgeable & hard working, bringing in two cuts of hay every season, plus training horses & judging. His generosity knew no bounds as he gave us acreage for our brood mares & jump course. He was honest and had a fabulous sense of humor. He is loved & sorely missed.
God Bless,
Heather, Genie, Jon & Sean Cleland

RIP , Norm I spent many hours at your farm . I not only show with Norm and Bae , but Norm judged shows that I went to over the years . Form the time I was in my teenage years until a few years ago. He was a great guy to talk with and get lots of advice from. I hope you do have a Yellow Horse up in heaven and it is a GOOD one !!! You will be missed here on earth but your spirit is free and I know you will watch over all of us. Until we meet again !!! I will give Susie a hug for you when I go to the barn today.

A genuine human being who was a rock in the Palomino world. Always a smile and a wealth of knowledge. Norm you had the BEST corny jokes that always made us laugh. God’s speed my friend and I hope you rode a golden horse to the gates of heaven.

Always loved to show our hoses to Norm!!! He always loved to judge kids... so helpful with his suggestions to all of them!!! He always tried to fool the kids tho.. he would pull the halter back into the bridal path...and you better fix it. You better not have a tangle, or snarl in the tail either cause he would run his fingers thru it. Back when the judges could touch your horse.... eternal rest for you Norm. Doubt that will happen . He’ll be helping somebody with their horse or judging a horse show in heaven.... Ken, the kids and myself loved this man!!! Our sincere condolences to Bea and his family.
