Obituary of Barbara A. West

Barbara A. West, 89, of Morrisville, formerly of Cazenovia, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Crouse Community Center. She was born in Cato, New York on December 3, 1931 to Floyd and Anna Horn and she was a graduate of Cato Meridian High School in 1949. She had been employed at the Schuler Potato Chip Company and as a machine operator with Gray Syracuse. Barbara retired from Mott Road Elementary School where she was employed as a kitchen aide. Upon her retirement, she and her husband, Leonard spent six months residing in Frostproof, Florida and the remainder of the year living in Ashville, North Carolina. In her free time, Barbara enjoyed camping, knitting and reading. She is survived by her sons, Steven (Linda) West of Cazenovia and Michael West of Erieville; one granddaughter, Trisha Floss and by one great grandson, Charles Addeo. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leonard in 2011 and by her siblings, Wilson Horn, Mildred Terpening, Warren Horn and Elsie Lund.
