To the entire Altmeyer family, please accept our condolences for the passing of our friend Ann. When I think of Ann I remember the four of us skiing at Tog and stopping in the lodge for laughs afterward. But most of all I remember her constant smile, laugh, sparkle in her eye, and adventurous personality. In fact, one autumn Jack and I were playing golf before attending an SU football game. While out on the course the snow started to fly and with the wind blowing it made golfing impossible. At that point we decided to go to Syracuse and get a bite before the game. I asked Jack if Ann was going to join us and he said she couldn’t. You see, at that moment while the wind was howling and the snow falling sideways, Ann was out on Lake Ontario scuba diving! Of the many things to recall about Ann, her dedication to her family, her profession, that optimistic “can do” fun loving attitude, the thing I miss most about her is that SPIRIT!
