Dear Teitsch Family, I have worked with Terry for the past 15 years, on the Colon Cancer Family Registry. Terry was loved and respected by all the USC CFR coordinators and data managers. She gave them respect back plus a lot of knowledge in her kind unobtrusive way. I talked to her at least once a week and many times more for over l5 years. Our conversations started about work but little by little merged into personal feelings, her love of her farm and husband. Our joke between us is that she would send me pictures each year of the new crop of goats, I would blow them up and tape them to the front of my office door. No one in l5 years ever asked why I had pictures of baby goats on my door. I missed her when I retired and I miss her now. We tried to plan a trip to the farm and what outbuilding I would live in after retirement. One of our last conversations stated the obvious. Neither one of us could have done our job without the other. A beautiful human soul that I had the privilege to know. Sincerely, Pat Harmon

Terry and I had offices that are right next to each other. We were both quiet and focused people, but I felt like we had a nice connection. Both of us grew up in Central New York, and both of us loved running. It was fun to talk about trips back home and swap stories of running there and up here as well. As an amateur grower of raspberries, I always appreciated Terry's advice on how to care for them. And the blueberries Terry grew--delicious! My wife often bugged me to buy more when our supply ran out. Terry was a kind, thoughtful person. The last time I saw her was at our holiday luncheon. She was in good spirits, despite her ordeal. I so admired that strength of hers. After our Yankee swap, she came over and gave me a box of chocolates she had gotten as a gift. She told me that she and Gregg didn't need it and that I should give it to my kids. The chocolate is long gone, but my fond memories of Terry remain. We miss you, Terry!

Although the years went by, I never forgotten my friends from Burton St. Terry was one of them. I remember going to her house after school and sleep overs. I'm so sadden to hear of her battle with cancer and her passing. May you take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and she is healthy again and free of any pain. May the Lord be with you at this time. God Bless (Maureen Winn 4th/ 5th/6th grade friend)
