The Pushlar kids (Pam, Ellen, Robin, Karen and Dean) had Hilda as a bus driver while we were growing up in Erieville. Hilda was an amazing woman and we considered her a member of our family. My mom, Jane Pushlar Magee purchased the house on Erievile Road from Floyd and Hilda back in 1973 and she owned the house until 2018. I will always remember the look on Hilda's face when most of us Pushlar kids showed up for her 90th birthday party at the Erieville Fire House, especially my brother Dean. A smile from ear to ear. We have often spoken about the many sights Hilda saw while kids got on and off her bus. I know she had a few stories about my mom and my brother Dean. We were so sorry that we could not be there to offer our condolences in person. We are sending all of our love during this difficult time. Robin and siblings

Mary Kyle expresses my every thought, love and emotion towards Hilda perfectly. Our parents, Bud and Mary were introduced by Hilda and Floyd and we considered them family. Since our parents passed in 2010 and 2013, Hilda was my thread to their lives. There is so much to express about the love for Hilda and all the history and wonderful stories. Our sincere sympathy to Forrest and Brenda and their families. Xxoo Hilda. Say hello to Mom and Dad and Chris for us. Jay and Maureen

Our prayers are with you at Hilda's passing. I have fond memories of her as my bus driver. At Christmas, each of us got a Christmas book of Life Savers candy. On the last day of school, each of us got an ice cream treat as we exited the bus. During hunting season, we would count the cars along the road on the way to New Woodstock. It was the one time we were allowed to stand up while the bus was moving without be spoken to. She was a one of a kind.

Brenda and Forrest and family,
Our sincerest condolences on Hilda's passing. She was so loved by all who's lives she touched. She always found the humor in life's moments. She touched so many lives as Erieville's School Bus Driver..
I don't think she ever forgot one of her "kids" from the bus. I remember Hilda and Eleanor taking their walks up "Jack Ass" hill. So many memories of her and her infectious laugh. She will be rememered with love and laughter by all who knew her.

Heaven added an angel today. Hilda had such an infectious laugh and spread her humor and positivity to others as easily as butter on bread. I knew her ever since my being. She meant more to me than words can express. She held my last touches to my parents who died in the ‘80’s. Her love and affection for others than herself was an attribute others could only aspire to be like. Hilda was just so fun to be around because she exuded love, life and laughter. She made my life happier. I loved Hilda very much. Heaven gained an angel and Floyd, Alton and Berneta are dancing with their old friend. I can and always will hear Hilda’s laugh. Thank you Hilda!
