Carolyn and I met in the late 60’s working in the Dean’s office. She had just moved to Cazenovia as a young widow with three small children. We shared many lunches together. And I would occasionally pop in to say hello to her after I moved away. A very special lady!!

Sharon, Tom and Peter,
So sorry for your loss. Our moms were great friends and I always looked forward to seeing Carolyn when my mom hosted bridge club.

Aunt Carolyn and her family were once part of tight group of friends in Cortland. Part of large group of women who organized a bridge club. Those of us, children of that club, will never forget her. Peace to Sharon, Tom, and Peter

Carolyn and I were second cousins and, although we never actually met, I felt a kinship with her. My heart goes out to Sharon, her brothers, and the community of Cazenovia for her loss.

I distinctly remember Mrs. Cooney working at Caz College alongside my father (Rich McNeill) in the early 1970’s . She was always very kind to me while I hung around the kitchen and snack bar looking for things to do while she as an administrator on campus. I recall her living next to the college as well and I was often invited in for a snack. Even into the early 2000’s my father would go visit her while in Cazenovia and I would have a chance to say hello. Fond memories of her and her focused support of Caz hockey! Godspeed
