I was very pleased and honored to receive a second annual memorial gift in the name of J. Ronald Fox today. As soon as the campership committee selects a recipient of this very generous and thoughtful gift, I have the privilege of notifying the Scout of the good news, and always include a copy of Mr. Fox's obituary. Mr. Fox led an extraordinary life and his legacy and memory live on at the Boy Scouts. Thank you for trusting us with the safekeeping of his legacy. Best wishes to his family and friends.

The Boy Scouts of America received a very special gift in memory of J. Ronald Fox today. Know that it will go toward making an exciting campership available in his name, for a youth from the area who shares his love of the outdoors! Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Dorris Fox and the Fox family. Gratefully yours, James Hastie, Director of Development, Leatherstocking Council, BSA.

To Ron's family:
My condolences upon your great loss. I remember Ron vividly as he once came to my house when I was in elementary school to pick up a book from my brother, Marty. He was an outgoing personality, very polite and showed interest in you as a person. Even though that was over 70 years ago, I still remember that visit.
And I myself 'followed in his footsteps' as I went to the same 2 schools (1-12) and same college as Ron.
Ron, you certainly used your God-given talents well. Rest in Eternal Peace.
Sincerely,
Jim Dooher
