Jim and family,
I am so sorry to just be finding out about Bev's passing. We used to have great conversations when she would come into my parent's store. Sending prayers and hugs to you all.

There are so many memories of Bev that I don't know where to start. Her heart was so big and always worried about others instead of herself.
When we would go over to visit, even already feeding 12, she always made sure that we never left there hungry! She could always make it stretch which I found amazing!
She always took the time to give me a hug and tell me she loved me .
Having time with her last week, hearing her say "I love you, Darlene " , hearing her crack a joke and giggle was a very special memory that I am blessed to be able to carry with me! I know you gave mom a hug and will see you again!

Written from Mom, Sharon Talley for her sister, Beverly.
Remembering my sister and all of the wonderful memories I have of her. I remember her always thinking of family. Family was the center of her life. Always giving. Some of my favorite memories is going over when I was young to her house with Mom and just helping do things she needed help with cause she had 10 kids. We were always hanging clothes or taking them down. She was always feeding everyone and making sure everyone got something to eat. Even with a house full of people, she would check on everyone. Lots of memories of family reunions and times with Mother and Jeanne. Going to garage sales and singing in church. She was always finding something for somebody. I loved her very much and miss her deeply. I know she's in Heaven with Mom, Judy, and all of the people we love who have passed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with family today and especially Uncle Jim. I'm sad that we won't be able to be there to see family.
Aunt Bev was such a wonderful, kind, and giving person. She was always thinking of others and love her family so much. I'm so grateful for all of the memories that we have with her. I'm so grateful we were able to come see her.
For me, one of my favorite memories of Aunt Bev is when we used to go to church rummage sales and she would be tucking away clothes and items for everyone, of course, and then she'd find something she thought I'd like. The first time I dont think she meant to be funny and she just tossed the shirt towards me, but after a while it became a funny joke she would play where she'd throw clothes in my direction when I wasn't looking and laugh. She was like a big kid giggling and tossing items at me. She actually got Grandma Sherman to give us a talking to a couple times about behaving. I just loved seeing her be silly and smile. Also, seeing all the ways she was always thinking of what others may want or need whenever we went garage sale-ing. Michelle Talley

To Uncle Jim and Aunt Bev's family,
Unfortunately, Wayne and I will not be able to attend the services for Aunt Bev this weekend as we are still in Florida.
However, I did wanted to share a tribute:
One of my favorite memories of Aunt Bev was when she attended summer church services at the Fenner Church where Grandma Sherman preached. I remember the three part harmonies Aunt Bev, grandma, and mom (Jeanne) would sing at these services. Classic gospels like the "Old Rugged Cross", and "Amazing Grace" were sung with such feeling and beauty. Now, she can sing with grandma and Aunt Judy in the heavenly choir.
Rejoice in a life well lived.
