Obituary of Beverly A. Marland

Beverly A. Marland, 95, of Erieville, passed away peacefully Monday, November 13, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Beverly was born April 13, 1928 in Syracuse to Frederick and Doris Hilts. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking for her family. Beverly always had a kind word for others and she spent her free time tending to her houseplants and spending time with her grandchildren. Beverly is survived by her husband of 76 years, James H. Marland; her children, James Marland, Jr. of Freeville, Kenneth (Cindy) Marland of Chittenango, Leslie Marland of Binghamton, Charles (Shirley) Marland of Eaton, Linda (Rick) Donegan of Michigan, Elizabeth Marland of Freeville, Deborah (Rick) Richards of Georgetown, Georgia (Joseph) Harosia of Rome, Kathleen (Kevin) Coombs of Manlius and Timothy Marland of Erieville; her sisters, Jeanne Jones of Cazenovia, Sharon Tally of San Antonio, TX and Darlene Morehouse of Miami Beach, FL; 28 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Hilts and by her sister, Judith Cole. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023 with services to follow at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road in Cazenovia.
